25 year old Gilberta Estrada from Texas was found hanged in a closet of her mobile home along with 3 of her small daughters, her 8 month old daughter Evelyn Frayre was dangling too but was rescued. The dead children's ages are 5, 3 and 2, named Maria Teresa Estrada, Janet Frayre and Magaly Frayre.
When Gilberta didn't show up for work her sister went looking for her and had to force her way into the home, police say its a murder suicide as all the doors were locked from the inside and the woman was depressed.
Gilberta had won a temporary restraining order in August against Gregorio Frayre Rodriguez, who was believed to be the father of the infant and some of the other children, after an attack on Estrada.
What the fuck is wrong with Texas? less than 5 years ago Dee Etta Perez, 39, shot her three children, ages 4, 9 and 10, before killing herself. Andrea Yates drowned her five children in the family's Houston bathtub in 2001.
In 2003 Deanna Laney beat her two young sons to death with stones in 2003 and
Lisa Ann Diaz drowned her daughters in a Plano bathtub.
Dena Schlosser fatally severed her 10-month-old daughter's arms with a kitchen knife in 2004.

All four of those women were found innocent by reason of insanity. Yates initially was convicted of capital murder, but that verdict was overturned on appeal.
Is it something in the Texas air that turns people into arseholes? depression, post natal or not you deserve death if you kill yer own kids, there is something wrong with you and you need to go.
I am a father, its a totally alien concept for me to think how I could one by one hang, drown,stone, shot or anything to my kids, I constantly suffer from depression and I know that harming myself would harm them but I would kill myself before I touched any of my children the way these mothers have, no matter how low I got because I've been there. Its sad when the killers see this as the only possible option. Texas is a Hellmouth.
