A series of academic studies over the last half-dozen years that claim to settle a once hotly debated argument - whether the death penalty acts as a deterrent to murder. The analyses say yes. They count between three and 18 lives that would be saved by the execution of each convicted killer.
The reports have horrified death penalty opponents and several scientists, who vigorously question the data and its implications.
Of course it does, they can't admit to being wrong, they support rapists, murderers and pedos, if stupidity was crime they would be on death row themselves. I almost hope they meet up with some of these people they are trying to save in a dark alley.
Just think how many murderers are repeat offenders and should have been killed the first time, nope they are let out to do it again.
